Jeff gave us call last spring about about a pond idea he had. Jeff had a very creative idea and design but it was a bit too much for a pond hobbyist to tackle on his own. We assisted Jeff with achieving his goals in creating a plant and gravel filtered pond, or Bog Pond that can also grow vegetables. An Aquaponics system of sorts, using the nutrient rich pond water to grow garden vegetables. We managed to shave the cost of this project by utilizing the materials in Jeff's lovely backyard. Soil, bricks, rocks and plants were all recycled and used to build this awesome water feature. Jeff and our team managed to pull off an amazing project. I cant wait to see it all grown in and lush this season. I will definitely have to try some of the vegetables Jeff is growing in the upper ponds!
