While attending Humber College for Landscape Design/ Construction, I had the excellent opportunity working with Quiet Nature out of Ayr. Derek and JP of Quiet Nature designed a massive 50 x 75 foot natural swim pond at his lovely home in Ayr. I spent many long hot days digging and carving the shelves to lay the massive boulders on, and hauling in soil and rocks to retain the far side of the pond. It had to be built up almost six feet along the far wall and I hand packed clay into the walls to shape out the deep end. We installed a Bio Filter upper pond filled with gravel and plants and an under gravel filter system in the sides of the main pond/ pool. The liner for that was a full roll of Pond Guard EPMD 100'x 50' if I remember correctly. Geesh!
